Carless, Keyless and Clueless

That pretty much somes up today in a nutshell.

My car's in at the dealer because I lose my service plan if I let someone at a garage top up the oil. They said it'd be ready at 14:00, but there's still no sign of the flipping driver. But they offered me breakfast this morning, so I'll let that slide.

I'm also keyless. For obvious reasons.

Then there's Vodacom.

That's why I'm clueless. This script's been bouncing more than the cheque I received last week. It goes in for review, everyone loves it except one dude. So it gets changed. Then someone else doesn't like it.

Now, the MD's decided that the script targets Obama and not Zuma, so it needs to be "dumbed down". Any stupider, and it'll be on a par with 3Talk!

And to crown it all off, deadline's careening towards me like a freight train, but I'm not permitted to start production until they've caughed up the dough. At least, 50% of it.

So, there's that to worry about as well. I might be nursing a stomach ulcer for no reason at all: the project might still fall through before I do more than script.

Righty-ho.

I had a message on Facebook today from an old friend who read this blog: wanted to know how often it's updated.

Well, as those of you who read regularly have probably surmised, I try to post at least something once a day (during the week) and give a weekend round-up on Mondays. Hope that answers the question.

As for the story requests, I'm still not receiving any comments or suggestions. Maybe it's because my trusty band of followers are as new to this whole blogging thing as I am. It's all cool, people. We'll get there.
